Cultural Gatherings
Connection to country Pilgrimage
An invitation to connect with Country.
To the wide-open skies and desert fires.
Here we reconnect to the heart of ourselves and the heart of the land.
This pilgrimage is an opportunity to deeply experience culture and country.
To sit and be with the majesty of this ancient land.
We will have the privilege to be welcomed onto country and to be shown the sacred sites by the traditional owners of Lilla community awakening into the purity and power of the land. Receiving and listening to what it is to be a steward of the land and to listen to the Tjukurpa (dreaming) stories of country and most recent devastating history and how it has affected our traditional people and their families. This is an opportunity to have a true cross cultural exchange where we will discover and adventure together. Lilla is an Aboriginal Outstation, the Community is about 15km from Wartarrka (Kings Canyon).
This pilgrimage is an opportunity to drop into the simplicity of life and deep listening. Where we enter into a timeless space where we weave, make clap sticks, sing, have some body movement meditation practices and sit in circle with woman. Giving space for country to speak.
The places that you will visit in our time together will be Kings Canyon and Uluru.

Women’s Cultural Camp
Alison Hunt invites women to join her and other Senior Law women as they share their culture at Uluru. If country has been calling you now is your time to be sitting with the law keepers of this country.
Alison is a very precious woman in my life she is not only my adopted family but she is one of my greatest teachers. This is a very sensitive time as her and her family are getting older. This is an incredible opportunity for women to come and to serve this country and to listen. Alison is a bridge between cultures and the Elders know we are now in important times for sharing their ancient Law and the connection to the Spirit of this sacred Country. We are very privileged to participate in these women's activities allowing us to deeply connect as we open our hearts to learn the Culture and Customs from Traditional Custodians and Wisdom Keepers.
Alison invites those who have an open heart with humility and willingness to learn about Culture and Country. This means that we come with no feelings, no thoughts, no opinions, that we come 'empty', in order to be totally present and behave as is requested of us with deep respect for what is being shared. There will be Inma (traditional Ceremony), storytelling, singing, dancing, creating artworks and artifacts together, healing and more.
